Synopsis:
“Crossed Borders” is a gripping historical drama that unfolds during the height of tensions between Armenia and Turkey. Set in the late 20th century and interwoven with modern-day narratives, the story follows Arman, a young Armenian journalist who uncovers a family secret tied to the Armenian Genocide and modern border conflicts. His investigation brings him face-to-face with Leyla, a Turkish activist whose own family history is rooted in the military regime of the past.

As truths emerge and tensions escalate, both Arman and Leyla must confront the weight of history, national identity, and the price of truth in a region scarred by conflict. “Crossed Borders” explores humanity, love, betrayal, and the thin line between patriotism and peace.

Casting Roles:
🔹 Lead Roles:

Arman (Male, 25-35, Armenian look): Intelligent, intense, emotionally layered. Fluent in English; knowledge of Armenian a plus.

Leyla (Female, 24-34, Turkish look): Fierce, passionate, politically active. Must be able to portray emotional range.

🔹 Supporting Roles:

General Mehmet (Male, 45-60): High-ranking Turkish military officer. Stern, authoritative.

Anahit (Female, 50-65): Arman’s mother, carries deep emotional trauma.

Suren (Male, 28-40): Arman’s best friend, comic relief with a serious side.

Murat (Male, 30-45): Leyla’s brother, ex-military.

Young Arman and Young Leyla (Male & Female, 8-14): Flashback roles, expressive and natural performers.

Requirements:
Professional or aspiring actors

Fluent in English; Armenian and Turkish speakers encouraged

Must be available for international travel

Audition reel or monologue preferred

All selected candidates will receive international exposure, accommodation, and paid contracts
